So my wife's idiot friend was riding in the back seat and decided to yank on the moon roof visor just because it seemed like a good idea. Ripped it off the track. I tried seating it back in the clips but now it doesn't close all the way. Is there an easy fix or is this going to result in a trip to the dealer?

Lie a little

Sounds like the best thing to do is go to the dealership smile a lot be friends with the SA and lie a little, say something like " I don't know what happened but....." Good luck.

This sounds like a job for your dealership, Holbrook.jeremy; I recommend making an appointment so they can check this out. Let us know how the repair goes!

That's some great advice.. lie to your servicing dealer so Ford can pay for the bill..

Seriously???? It isn't a defect, why should Ford pay for a repair that was caused my someone in the vehicle?

How about honssty with your dealer and if it is a quick fix and you have a good relationship, they will probably just pop it back into the track for very little money.

I'm told the wife to bring it in. It's another in a long line of stupid things that have happened with her cars due to her treating them like play things instead of expensive vehicles.
