More 4405 probs.

Ok, I have the 4405, having same problem that NOS/86 posted on 7/28/05, but, I only have this problem when tryin to use 4lo, last time I tried it, no forward gears, or reverse, and even park would'nt hold, only the sound of spinning gears, or light grinding,. GJarrett said its a " range slider " and to replace the fork and/or insert along with it, did NOS get the problem resolved, and if so, what was the fix, when i purchased my 98 from a dealer, I got the exrended bumper to bumper warranty, I'd like to replace T-case, is there a better one than this 4405? Personally i'd like a manual T-case, and know its in gear, all comments appreciated. BTW, mine seems to reset after i turn it off, and let it sit a couple minutes, then auto, and 4hi work fine, trouble starts with 4lo.

You can swap in a BW1354 manual, but they are becoming increasingly hard to find. A dealer warranty won't cover non-stock parts. I'd take your truck in and have this t case fixed or replaced, then upgrade after your warranty is up.
