more cheap/free mods?

When I took my valve covers off to fix the cam chain cassette, I decided to polish them. I just took an aluminum polishing wheel on an electric drill and polished it until it shined like chrome. Took about one hour and they look great.
Total cost..... nothing.

Gotta be careful though. Some Explorer have their pinstripe painted on. If you are not the original owner, the previous owner might have done a custom paint job on the pinstripe. Rare but does happen.

Well, there was an opportunity cost being that of any other activity you could have performed during that hour. Such as purchasing a winning lottery ticket, or saving a billionairess from her burning Rolls Royce, etc.
So, there was some 'cost' after all. lol

Well I am already married to a millionairs daughter, and own a million dollar company so that would have been a waste of time. As for the lottery ticket, I won one five years ago and that is how I could aford to start my own business so that would have been a waste of time also. I guess all I have left to do is work on my poor little X
