I have a pair of composite Rhinoramps that have seen everything from my Ranger to my mom's Grand Voyager. They are rated at something like 12,000lbs and have held up just fine over the last five or six years.

Had my '99 Ex on plastic ramps (front wheels) for like a month while it was down waiting on parts, no issues.

Ditto on the Rhino Ramps... My only gripe with them is that on a smooth concrete floor, they can slide, even with the rubber feet on the end. (Learned that the hard way... punched a hole in the drywall with the composite saw horses sitting in front of the Ex)

Be careful.

Yea, I have that problem even on pavement, the things just slide out. Can take several tries to get it right. Roll up too fast, they slide forward, too slow, the AWD sends power to the fronts and it pulls them under, uneven (so you have to back down, reset them, and start over).

My problem was that I was in 2low. I got the front wheels on them, then hit the brakes part-way up. The fronts stopped moving, but the rears continued to drive through the brakes (being in 2low), so it drove the whole truck forward regardless of the fact that I had my foot on the brakes.

It was just a little hole, and the saw horses survived intact, despite being all plastic. It was more the humiliation of the whole thing... Locking the t-case in 4wd takes care of that problem...
