Nothing like a good gloat Jan, especially when your wallet stays shut. Lol.

Mines due in July/August. Expect an advisory or to (minor rust related) - if it goes bad then I think a trip to the USA might be the order of the day ;o)

Mine should fly though methinks - I have lavished TLC on mine recently, I therefore expect a return! Might even take it to Ford to see if they can find fault...

Don't get me wrong mine has some surface rust on the chassis and the suspension components but nothing serious. My rear shackles were pretty flimsy with rot but i replaced them a couple of years ago with kev p shackles :D

Good news Jan. Mine passed in March without issue as well. They jokingly told me it needed loads of work but then advised me it had passed. How funny they are!!! I suppose it's telling that I was far more willing to believe the fail notice though. It was nice to have a pass after last year's MOT misery. It may be worth noting that whilst my ABS light comes on and goes off as it should, it then relights occassionally during driving, as it did during this years test (I suspect a front wheel sensor). I was advised that this is not a fail as it shows the system's working properly! Whether this is legit is another matter...I have the Certificate, so I just don't care.

I have my MOT coming up in the next couple of weeks, keeping my fingers crossed all will be OK.
The only thing I am aware of is the ABS warning light on.

Just heard from the garage and it was a fail. A couple of brake pipes with corrosion, front roll bar bushes failed which were new a year ago, ABS sensor which I knew about and hand brake cable.
Could have been worst I suppose but a surprise about the bushes.
