Just a question for the gurus. I am in the process of removing the motor from my 1999 sohc explorer, I’m at the stage of disconnecting the auto gearbox. Since this is the first auto I have worked on, I would like some advice on the procedure to do this. After doing a search on this,
I hold the front crankcase nut with a 22mm spanner removing the torque converter bolts through the starter motor hole rotating clock wise.
Is there any thing to look out for once this is done?
Will the motor come out easily at this stage.
Any advice on this will help
Thanks all
