I just took my Mach cd changer out of the armrest, since I can't use it anymore with my new pioneer 7500 deck. Anyway, I thought i've seen it done before where people have mounted a changer in the armrest, is it possible? Secondly, I have the Alpine XM radio modulator, would I have to go with an Alpine changer to hook it up to that modulator?

1st of all... welcome to the site...

What are you trying to do? You can mount a cd changer in the center console (assuming thats what you mean), as you just said, you just pulled the factory changer out of the armrest. As for you XM, you will need an fm modulator to route the signal to your pioneer deck, but I would recommend getting a pioneer cd changer (assuming your pioneer has changer controls) b/c it will sound better going through the head unit as opposed to the FM modulator.

But if you must have an Alpine CD changer, I think that the changer can be plugged into the XM modulator and that the XM control unit can control the changer... don't qoute me on this, rather, ask the people that sold you the equipment.
