Hey guys, I've been a member for about a year now. I live in Michigan right now but I'll be moving to the Dallas area. Anyone from around there? If so, any good fourwheeling spots? Let me know!

Well yeah, see you when you get here. J/K

Welcome aboard Travis, thank god another Michigander will be living around here. I'm a transplant as well. I lived in Michigan for a little less than half of my life and GM brought us down here. There are a few spots to wheel in Texas. When you get to the Dallas area we will have to show you around. What part of town are you going to be living in?

Welcome to the Big "D" You will like it here in Texas. We have alot going on at all times. Let us know the area you will be living in. I am in Plano, just North of Dallas.

I'll be living in Grapevine right next to the lake. I've lived in Michigan my whole life so this will be a big change. I'm looking forward to it though. I'm so sick of the winters around here. There looks to be a lot more to do around the Dallas area than around here. Any suggestions for stuff to do?

I know what you mean. I imagine Holland is like Grand Blanc and Mt Pleasant and not a whole lot to do. There is more than enough stuff to do down here. There is wheeling within a couple hours, Deep Ellum, Greenville Ave, etc etc etc. What made you decide to move to the Grapevine side of town?

Here is a link to one of our trips Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer, TX:

Grapevine is also a great place to ride your Mountain Bike too, as for wheeling.......................................

You dont want to roll with the Texas crew. You see how we live? We live RAW.

Speaking of which, when are planning on coming down?

Welcome to town. When are you headin down? The best wheelin is 2hrs east of Dallas. I road the Northshore trail at lake Grapvine yesterday. I guess I need training wheels for my bike, I endoed off a 2ft ledge. Landing in soft sand the front tire stopped and everything else kept going. No big deal except I broke my computer speedo. :fire:

you will be right next to some really good Texas wheelin'- Gilmer (aka Barnwell Mt). be careful wheeling with these guys, next thing you know you'll be pawning **** just to get lockers and 35's. :p

and BTW- moving from Michigan to Dallas at springtime will be a shock to your system. be prepared for summer. 100+ and 90% humidity. God be with you. :p

I think he was directing that static this way.

If you have a weak heart and can't handle complete lack of reguard for selfpresurvation you might want to reconsider. ;)

On the other hand once you meet James you'll know that I'm the tame one.

Hey guys, I'll make sure to let you all know when I get down there. I should be moving out in about 2 weeks. I had a couple questions about texas laws though. I know they have exhast tests there, has anyone had any troubles passing that with the ex, and if so what did you have to do? Also, does anyone know if they have laws against intake kits or clear corners?
