Could someone please clear up a roomer for me, I have been told that my 98 Explorer will blow up when I get to 100,000 klm.Something about the timing chain , I bought it from new and have had it serviced by Ford no mention by them, I have 89,000 klm and have had no problems as yet, also can you tell me what are the biggest and best tyre you can put on this car.

tires is a very subjective selection... i dont think you will be able to fit a tire larger than 31x10.50x15 on a stock explorer..... also your tire selection being in AU is very differnt than what we have availabable in the states....

your car is not going to blow up at 100 km......
 






Thanks mate,but is there anything i can do to prevent the timing chain breaking, and as for the tyre's i have had the car raised about 2" allround
