this applies to anyone for that matter; I am having a difficult time gathering in-depth technical info on the sport trac... I wanted to know what is TTB, does the Trac have it, or what? Second, i am ordering the 4.10's w/ L/S, 5 sp AT, and aside from disappointing running ground clearance, I believe I will be happy with this set-up. What are my choices with susp. lifts, does anyone know? A buddy with a F150, said that Ford will still hold the warranty valid if a lifth is 4" or under. Thanks for the info. cheers, becker.

TTB is the initals used to describe the Twin Traction Beam style front drive axle used in the '91-'94 Explorer. In '95 the TTB was replaced with the IFS (Indipendent Front Suspension) drive axle. This is what your Sport Trac will have under it. As far as lifts go there are a couple options. For a mild lift you can install a set of Warrior shackles in the rear and adjust (tighten) the front torsion bars to bring up the front. This will give you aprox. 1.25" lift. There is also a 4" suspension lift available from the aftermarket. I would check with your dealer before installing either lift if there is a possibility of voiding the warranty.
