I had a P1400 code on my explorer, so after reading here and there I decide to take out the DPFE to change it. While it is out, I start the explorer
I put back the DPFE, and try to start it (had a hard time to start it back).
Result: a bunch of new codes. P0113, P0118, P0123, P0453, P0708 (the P1400 disapeared...).
I tried to clear those codes, but they come right back.
The truck is not running good, bad (high) idle, transmission acts weird, water temp gauge has no signs of life and there is also the O/D light that flashes continuously...

Anyone has an idea?
Is it the ECM?
Thanks

Yes. To give that many more or less unrelated codes, I suspect that there is a partially open connector, a loose ground or a pinched harness somewhere near the recent work.

For those interested, this is most likely a shorted DPFE. Did a simple test, just pulled the plug of the DPFE, cleared all the codes than started the engine. Not a single code came back, and the truck is running just fine. So tomorrow I am out to the dealership for a DPFE.
Thanks
