In two days I am going to be going on a trip with family that looks like it is going to include some snow. I'll be up in the mountains. I'm concerned because my explorer has had some strange lights coming on lately. 03 Eddie Bauer V8 2WD
I recently had the wheels replaced and a few months after that some strange indicators started coming on. The ABS light will occasionally come on after some hard acceleration. The traction control light is also now constantly on even though I don't have the advance trac option on this car. Even stranger is the fact that the 4X4 light is occasionally flashing and the truck doesn't even have 4WD. Any ideas as to what might be the issue with this?
The truck has been fine in daily driving and I haven't noticed anything, but I am concerned about taking it into possible snow. My choices are either the explorer or a BMW 325i.

i would maybe have a mechanic just check it since your going on a far trip just in case.
