mustang 4.0 heads the same?

are the heads off the 05+ v6 mustang the same heads as the one on the explorer? could i put the mustang intake manifold and jba headers on it?

I believe the 4.0 SOHC is the same in the mustang and the exploder as far as most bolt-on's go.

Yes, there are differences such as the intake a few other things.

To Answer your question, yes, the heads will bolt up. However, I'd wait for someone else to confirm this!

No the 4.0SOHC isn't even remotely the same. The 3.8L is pushrod and the 4.0L is a sohc. The 4.0L SOHC is a 60* design.
