mustang woes

my neighbor has a 2005 6 cyl mustang. has intermittent problems starting. dealership can not duplicate (whats new)

when key is turned car makes clicking sound under passenger dash area as if relay is sticking.

could this have anything to do with the anti-theft system malfunctioning?

has occurred 4 times in 6 months at the most inopportune times.

any theories, opinions, or similar experiences are appreciated.

The battery, starter solenoid relay or starter might be going bad.

What does it do when it doesn't start? Does it turn over? Does it start then die?

Is the anti-theft light flashing when they try to start it when it won't start?
