I have a 96 3.8. It is especially fun to get out of a lifted explorer and into the mustang. It turns, stops and goes like crazy.

when i lived in the states i used to have a 69 coupe

Turning and stopping would be faster, but damn you must have a slow X for the 96 3.8 to feel faster. I know I have smoked many a pre-99 V-6 Mustang in my X :D

'91 LX (5.0 of course :D).

71 Mach 1 with 500+ hp 351 Cleveland
68 Fastback with 289 HiPo working on 5.0 install.

HOW DARE YOU!.....say that and NOT post pics:D
Pics!! pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease...

Here's My 68 Mustang

Ok, by "mine" I technically mean my brothers friends, BUT, i have ridden in it, does that count:cool: ?at all? a little? fine:(

Thats a nice coupe!!! I'll see if I can dig up photos of the 68. The 71 just got its first coat of Grabber blue last weekend and its been raining ever since. Once I get a couple more coats on her I'll take pics of her. I've never posted photos here before, so I may need someone to host them for me.

Well as if my name didn't hint to anything, i have a 01 GT Mustang Coupe, 5 speed. This baby is my pride in joy, lots of fun in this car! moving or not ;)

I brought pics to feed the needy :D

Brand new

After 1 wreck, i got a cobra R replica bumper but lost that to a series of events, and then ended up redesigning it myself. I also somehow lost a center cap, or it was taken but i cant see any mark from someone prying it out. So im just assuming it came off on its own.

Anyways this is what she looks like now.

Mods:
Single Chamber Flowmasters
Mac offroad H pipe
K&N
Densecharger CAI kit, with full length intake.
Gas pedal mod
Speed sensitive volume mod
AFS Cobra R rims, 9.5 wide up front 10.5 out back.
Khumos (good for the money) 245 up front, 275 out back
Steeda Triax short throw shifter
4.10s, with Speedcal, and removed wishbone
Thats all for now, i think. Im gonna try not to mod her this summer in hopes of getting my other "mustang" going.

I also have a 1948 CJ2a Willys project, that i inherited a while back.

289 from a 66 Mustang
T-90 tranny
D-18 transfer case
Long tube headers, can be seen on back of garage wall.
This is about a month ago, but since then its been spread out accross the garage and all the cleaning stuff and junk has been put away. Im not looking to do anything other then just get it running. No mods to the 289 because the torque on it stock, is gonna rain hell on this jeep! Once its going tho, i plan on a SOA conversion, a role cage instead of the bar, and some 5 point harnesses. Then down the road the D 44s and all the blah blah, but for now i just want to drive the damned thing.

Sweet. I have an '89. Any mods or track times for yours?

As far as mods, only what was on it when I got it--Flowmaster exhaust, drop-in filter, aluminum driveshaft, 3.55 rear gears, and custom SVO tranny gears. If I keep it for a little while longer, I will get some lowering springs.

The previous owner is retired engineer from transmission. Tried to get them to put a 6-speed in it, and settled for a set of custom gears. I haven't taken it to the track, so the only data I have is top end of 144.

Oh, 96,000 miles and original clutch (if I can only get that out of my Ranger...).

looking good Nitro, do you have drag springs on there? Or did just just lower the front on it? Really sweet stance.:D
