looks like the slope your truck is sitting on is sloping towards the rear of the vehicle and the rear end of your truck still looks to be a bit high. i would do the torsion twist if i were you. the good thing about the TT is if you dont like it, you can always undo it relatively easily.

by the way, thats a 2000? i thought the 2000 sport was the redesigned one? or is the redesigned one the 2000.5?

your truck looks good. im a big fan of the white with gray fender flares (check out my pics in my signature :)

I think it looks good either with or without the TT. Crank them up and see how you like them and if you dont, like was said, you can crank them back down.

I think your truck looks pretty good the way it is now. Appears relatively level to me.. but again.. I have the balance of a duck LOL! Personally I don't like the look of trucks jacked up with sporty rims, I just think it's a clash of cultures: rugged and tough, and the "street" look! But hell.. that's just me!

Hey tbomb, Yea they redesigned then for 2001. I realy like the bar and lights on the front of yours! What brand is the bar?

Yeah....the truck looks level in that picture. The problem is...the driveway is sloped. *grin*

I would say that matching the 2" on the front (or at least 1-1.5") would be in order. Besides...I need someone to do the TT and tell me how difficult it is :)

have you seen Torsion Bar Lift under Explorer tips on the main page? Grate explanation of how to do the twist!

kcsport 00,

its a westin safari bar with hella 500 driving lamps, and i had the safari bar painted to match the gray fender flares. actually, i just took off the bar and lights and sold them, and bought new rims :) (<-- theyre not on yet though.)

Hey man Ive got the same 00 sport, where did you find an exhaust that fits the 2dr. Ive asked Gibson about the one they have for the 4dr.

doktorstoj,

actually, i just replied to the email you sent me, but i went with a custom exhaust system. i went to my local exhaust shop (meineke) and told the guy what i wanted and they got me the muffler and bent the pipes. looks great, sounds great, and i get great gas mileage. granted, i had to go through 3 exhaust systems in one week, but i finally got exactly what i wanted. they say the 3rd times a charm :)

Not a big deal but one thing to consider when you're cruising around nose-down is that all your front lights will have to be readjusted upward to make up for your new front angle.
