My AMR is hardwired to the battery Need Help

I hav a 97 or 98 not sure Ford Xplorer Sport AWD. The amr is hardwired to the battery I am resetting the wires every thing looks good The radio. comes on :with the power ant. wire is pluged in the volume button doesn't do anything. Unplug the power ant n the volume shows up that its increasing n decreasing but no sound thru the speakers just the lil beeps thru the radio. There r extra wires I don't see on the diagram (a gray with Blak line. Two dark pink w I think brownShould I hav not hooked up the switch wire or not grounded right

Are you sure you have the correct diagram? Aftermarket radio?

First off, I’d figure out which year you have. Check the door sticker for your build date. The stickers on the header panel in front of the radio usually tell the model year based on the emissions stuff.
