Hi - I just bought a 2003 Ford Explorer - Eddie Bauer edition. (my first Explorer) It's got 235,000 miles on it (!) but is in really good shape! The body is solid, the paint is in great shape, and the interior is in very good shape - but needs a really good cleaning! All the electronics and accessories work as expected, and it just doesn't feel like a truck with 235,000 miles on it! (I had a Dakota that had 218,000 on it, and man - it really felt like it! The Dakota has since gone to the crusher...)
It needs a tuneup, maybe a little front end work, and it will need tires before the snow flies - I'm in Minnesota.
I've already found a few excellent how-to repair threads on this site, so really looking forward to learning from y'all about these trucks.
