my heat and air conditioner/no regulation

I have the digital heat. I could have it set at 70 degrees, but it will run at 90, no matter what. same with the air conditioner, it will run as cold as possible all the time. pretty annoying. could anyone help me out?

same problem with 97 eddie bauer explorer

It's the climate control computer which is a mere 300-400 bucks to replace! I've just gotten used to it.
