my heat smells

sometimes when i turn on the heat in my truck itll stink awfully. then, after a while, i cant tell if it goes away, if i just cant smell it anymore because i get used to it. anyone else have something like this? (its almost like a "burning" type of smell.)

You may want to check the gasket at the rear of the engine compartment that seals agiainst the hood. Sometimes these deteriate or fall off, which allows the smells of the engine compartment to enter your fresh air intake.
