ive got two quick questions. first... i have k&n filter cleaner and oil left over from my old filter and i was wondering if there were any potential problems with using them on my kkm filter. second...if i am short on oil, are there any problems with me driving the car until i get more. thanks

No the KnN oil recharger is the same thing.

Also are you talking about the engin oil or the filter oil. Either one I would not push it.

ironically enough i do need a oil change to, but i was talking about the filter oil. the most driving i would be doing right now is around campus...nothing to extreme.

I was also wondering about this. Except I was wondering if you had to put oil on the kkm filter when you first install it or if it has oil already.

it is already oiled...you do need to oil it every time you clean it though

does anyone know how much HP that the KKM actually adds?

how often should the KKM intake be oiled?

it shoudl be oiled every time you clean it. I usually do about every other oil change.
