My New 2001 Red Explorer ST

just recently bought a 2001 Red Explorer sport trac 2wd. Overall in good shape just a lot of little things to do as well as some mods that will make it look sweet. I am in college so money will be scarce, so this will probably be a long work in progress. Also definitely open to ideas from the crowd so send them my way guys. Thanks for looking

If it's a Job 1 it's a good candidate for the 5.0 swap. The Job 1 uses Pats B, the Job 2 uses Pats E, the Job 1 receives the vss signal from the ABS module, the Job 2 receives it from the PCM. The Job 1 has the pretzel style intake and different valve covers also than the Job 2.

The 99-01 Explorer/Mountaineer 5.0 uses Pats B, and the ABS module for the vss signal, so it's a simpler swap, than a Job 2 which requires either Pats E tuned out or Pats B swapped in place. and the Explorer/Mountaineer ABS module and G-sensor swapped in or a separate module like the SpeedChanger II to operate in place for the vss signal.
