My new Flowmaster 40!!

Well i got my flowmaster 40 non-delta today. Got 2.25" piping after that and one awesome looking stainless tip coming straight out the back. Gotta say i absolutly love it!! Some said it would be to loud but i think that its just right, its got a deep rumble at idle and roars when i put her to the boards. Best thing I have ever bought.

Glad you'er happy with it. Please report back after the newness wears off,say 1000 miles. Let us know how you feel after listening to it for awhile.

Yes, I'd be interested to find out if the sound becomes too annoyingly loud after a week or two.

I'll keep you posted! I am in love with my explorer all over again. Got a little more power and one mean @$$ growl at idle and roar at wide-open.

Well I have put about 1000 miles on the Ex since the addition of my Flowmaster 40 and it sounds great! I have become less fond of my tip as it looks kinda ricey (3 inch rolled tip) and put a new one on (2 5/8" slash cut tip). Don't have any pics yet as i don't have a digital camera but will as soon as i get the film developed and scanned. Here's what it did look like with the 3" rolled tip:
