Hey guys check out my new system. I did it all myself yesterday! Im only 16. Just to tell you I could have made it Xplorer custom but I just might sell my X so not 2 custom Thanks 4 the help.

Nice first install bro. I know where your coming from my first install is almost complete! One question why did you carpet instead? Were the blemishes to hard to cover? I ask cause im going to spray paint my box. I primed it 4 times, putty all the holes and seams, and used a belt sander to smooth it all down. Gawd it looks like its going to be hard to get those wires looking clean ehh.

I also primed my box twice and did 2 coats of black but it still didnt look good, I could see the tops of screws, lines of were the pieces met, ext. I just said forget and went to walmart and picked up a $8 piece of a "door mat" And but it together.

I am on my 5th box, still not perfect. A nail gun helps so much!

Ive heard that nails are bad for building boxes??? Becuse they will come loose. What you say?? Or am i wrong??

Got a quick question... is the box split in 2 equal section on the inside... so the subs are in there own seperate chamber?

No the box is not seperated into 2 chambers, but they sound fine anyways.
