Yes it's May 1st, but no, I don't care lol. I got a great deal on this plow. Retails for $1,200 plus tax and shipping, but I got it for $175 from a guy on craigslist only 40 minutes from my house. It is in great condition with just a few scratches and the mount is perfect, not even scratched. They guy said he barely used it at all but when he did it was great. :D
Heres the website if anyone is interested: http://www.agricover.com/index.php/products/category/C24/

Keep us posted on the final out come of your plowing X

Explorers push pretty well. Just start with the snow banks as far back as you can, once settled the plow wont push them. It'd be easier on the trans and t case clutch if you plow in low.

that name again is Mr. Plow

Awesome!! Get some video and lets see how the X does!!

ressurecting a dead post here, but its better than starting a new one.
School is out for the semester, so it was time to actually get the plow on. Instead of buying a front hitch for $150 or so I just went to the junkyard and picked up a good looking hitch, ripped off the do not modify sticker, and modified it ha. I just got the actual mount on with the spacers I needed to clear my prerunner bar and now the plow is on. Now all I need is some snow, and to put my new trans cooler on. Here are some pics and i'll add more when it starts snowing. :D

How do you raise & lower the plow?

How do you raise & lower the plow?

Left hand on handle in front of right headlight, right hand on handle in front of left headlight and whatever you want to insert into the middle handle.;)

haha, yea that sounds pretty much correct. I am going to see if I can rig up a small winch to it though. A 1500 lb atv winch is small and pretty cheap, but for now its all human power ha. Still beats the shovel though.
