my new xl...... is mis-firing....

1& 4 are the first two cyl to fire,(firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6) so if they are not firing you would feel a hell of a miss since they are back to back.have you reset your computer since doing all this work.maybe you got a bad crankshaft sensor,too me it still sound like a lower intake gasket since both 1 and 4 are the front cyl this was the problem i was having but i got water in my oil after time though
