My Ranger is hard starting.

Hi All I'm new to this sight. and new to the internet thing. My question is about my 2002 Ranger 3.0 liter xlt. Some times will not start until 4 to 8 attempts, replaced fuel filter,has new sparks and wires. Has about 155000 mi. Also has new battery. Once started it sounds OK.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the Ranger section. Do you hear the fuel pump prime when it's trying to start? If not, then it could be the fuel pump relay, PCM relay or the crankshaft/camshaft position sensors.
