my rear door won't open/ outside or inside

What if my rear door won't open? How do I get the damned thing open to see what's wrong? 1997 control trac.....4wd.....I can hear the actuator working but can't open from inside or outside.

You may have to wreck the rear door in order to get it open. I know I had to as there is no release on the inside.
