Don't know... didnt' try. I haven't seen the need to fold them down.

Mine are folded down half the time, easier to put boxes and dogs in the cab.
Don't you have a sub behind your left rear seat? I have heard of some base models without the sub.

No sub stock, just a empty compartment. That is where the amp is now.

I bought a new sub 2 inches bigger than stock I am installing behind the seat.
