Just disconnect the battery and reset the comp. The CEL will probably go away and not come back.

i did that after i cleaned it. so.

i took electrical cleaner sprayed out the iac again andreset the computer. same thing happened. i am going to replace the iac with the oem that i replaced originally. before i found out that you can clean them. and if that is deffective aswell i will buy a new one.

codes came.

large vaccum leak
small vaccum leak
oxygen sensor deffective
failed iac
ignition misfire
fuel injection problem
firty/deffective maf
engine mechanical condition
damaged or mis adjusted throttle body

ok. for sure it is not:

ignition misfire

dirty/deffective maf

vaccum leak large or small

--------------------------------

is it possible i "misadjusted" my tb? i connected everything back the way it was. never disconnected it from the throttle line. and cleaned everything out with a soft toothbrush and tb cleaner.

the throttle does not stick but when i "blip" the gas it does not rev down normal it takes about 2 seconds for it to start going back down. could this be the iac orrr a injector problem? i tried a new injector cleaner from autozone. i dont remember the brand but it was a promo item so i picked it up. could that be it also?

What are the actual codes?

I've been chasing a rough idle for months. Each fix got me closer and closer to a smooth idle. Here's my progression might help you out.

1. replaced fuel filter
2. replaced plugs and wires
3. replaced IAC - idle air controller
4. replaced TPS - throttle position sensor
5. replaced air filter and cleaned MAF - mass air flow sensor
6. replaced EVAP Control Solenoid
7. replaced EVAP Pressure Sensor and hoses
8. replaced MAF

Prior to this I had replaced the PCV and elbow and found/fixed a minor vacuum leak.

Each fix made a minor improvement, it was like solving a puzzle.

Finally have a silky smooth idle.
