My truck won't start.

i have 99 ford explorer and i was drive and came to a stop and it just shut off and i went to start it back up and nothing all it did was trun over and there was no fire i have spark and perusser in the fuel rail i change plugs and idk what it could be i think it might be timing chain but want to get some info before i went out and spent the money if someone could help me out thank you

Perforning a compression test is an easy way to check for timing chain slip. Very low or no compression on one bank equals slipped chain on that bank.

ty for the info i did all them checks and got none in one bank and that just tells me that it is timming chain now just wanted to make sure before i went out and spent the money ty once agian
