My v6 into a v8?

I did a search for it and couldent come up with anything usefull. Is it posable to turn my '97 xlt 4x4 v6 into like a v8 useing a triton v8 out of a ford truck?? Or would it be better money spent supercharging?? And im new and hello!

best be is gettin a 5.0 outta another explorer and swaping the engine and trans into your truck. its alot of work though

search for 5.0 swap or v8 swap, many people have done it.

The triton V8 wont fit, well it will with enough fabrication. You would have to use the V8 out of an Explorer, it will just drop in more or less.
