Alright, let me see if I can describe this noise...
When I turn off my X, there is a weird sort of vacuum noise. I currently have the cover/shield off the top of the engine, and it is more pronounced than usual.
The noise rises in pitch after the I shut the truck off, and doesn't last more than 2-3 seconds. It sounds like there is a loose hose or something back in between the firewall and the intake manifold. It sounds like a vibrating/vacuum noise...kind of a groan. It's really hard for me to describe.
I've already tried spraying carb cleaner all around that area, and around the intake tract in general, with no results.
Any ideas on what I should be looking for?
