My X Under Operation

I like that 4x4 sticker. and that plastic valence will not come off b/c i don't want it off. it doesn't take away my clearance.

Hey Digger, since you added the new tires etc...on to your signature, it is now at 8 lines. I might as well warn you before some moderator trims it to 6 or less.:)

I got 7 lines bud. it is different for w/ your screen size is.

Edit: I changed it. now it is 6 lines.

I went wheeling yesterday and boy what a difference new tires do! it was me and a Jeep and i out did him. lol. the X looks great all muddy. i'll leave it this way i think.

i painted the diffy tonight and boy does it look good! looks like new and going tp paint the sway bar red to stand out.

take some pics of it when its done, what paint did you use?

I used flat black rustoleum and i also painted the sway bar red using flat red stuff that isn't suppost to run but it does but not as fast. when it is all dry i'l lhave pics for sure. i hate that i can't drive it for a while but that's ok.

here's pic's of it:

thats look sgood dave, i might have to do a littl eof that myself, i did the leaf springs with just spray on black tremclad but it has since came off. how did you clean oup the diff and sway bar b4 you painted it? sandblaster? wire brush? steel wool? sand paper?

How does your rig perform now with 32s? Im assuming you havent regeared (havent read anything about it) and I am very interested in how 32s affect things like power and gas mileage.

Also, how many miles are you gonna get from those mud terrains?

Bates - i first pressure washed all the mud and crap off of it real good them i got some sandpaper and sanded the rust off to where it was smooth. then primed it then put the black paint on it. as for the sway bar it was pressure washed, lightly sanded then painted red.

Red - i have not regeared and don't think i will for a while. the power wise is great. tons of it and i get everywhere i need to so i'll spend my money other places. as for MPG, i've got a spreed sheet going now and i'm averaging 13 mpg so it isn't as bad as i thought but still bad. that is all city driving though. i've got a friend w/ 33's on a wrangler w/ both front and back OX lockers and 3 inches of lift and he has 20K on his M/T and there is still 1/2 of the thread left! so they last a long time. As for off-road performance, it is awesome. i get to go even more places than i have before the tires so i love them and the mud holes are not a problm!

Thanks for the info digger...now I just have to wait for a looooong time for my new tires to wear down so I can get some new ones.

i thought i would do the same but after i went wheeling one day and a best friends jeep went more places, i said hell no not again and got a beastly tire to out perform him!

so then can you now go places the heep cant?

you betcha

Nice ride, gotta give you props for all the work you've done, given youre still in HS like me. What's the width on those tires though? And they are 32's right? How's the rubbing off-road? I am thinking about doing the same thing, thanks in advance.

11.5" and they only rum slightly of the 3 point turns you have to do offroad if you do make them.
