I bought an '05 Explorer XLT last week. I'm working my way through it trying to figure everything out. Figured out most of the truck. But, I have an odd little box attached to the rear view mirror. I'm not sure what it is. There is no name or identification of any kind on it. The current radio is an old school Pioneer without GPS or satellite. The push button is a bit of a mystery. I haven't seen a GPS or satellite antenna with any kind of buttons.
Anyone have an idea of what it is?
It looks like it just snaps onto the mirror bracket. Removing the box is simple. The wires look like they go up into the top console. How do I get in there to remove the wires cleanly without just cutting them?
