Need a little help identifying this part.

Hi everyone my heater control valve srang a leak yesterday. i took it out to replace it. somewhere along the way this thing came with it. i have tried to find a diagram to see where it goes back to. however, i haven`t had any luck. the only numbers on the thing is HP2. my question is where does it go to? thanks in advance.

never mind figured it out. lmao guess that`s what happens when you have steaming water trying to attack you. lmao.

it holds the top heater control valve hose and attaches to the top of the black box closest to the H.c.v.
