Next to this forum, a very useful tool could be a wiring diagram. Find one for your vehicle by visiting the AUTOZONE website (http://www.autozone.com/repair_info.htm):
* Select your vehicle
* Select REPAIR INFO from the menu on the left
* Select VEHICLE REPAIR GUIDES from the menu on the left
* Select CHASSIS ELECTRICAL
* Go to the bottom of the menu on the right and select WIRING DIAGRAMS
* Scroll down until you find the diagram you want then click it to enlarge.
