What is used on a used car to get the new car smell? I have used many different things but cannot achieve this scent, going to try an call around an ask if no one knows
I am not a professional detailer, but I asuume they use some sort of commercial scent, which is stronger then what us, the consumers can buy in the store. i know that commercial places can get some awesom carpet cleaners to clean up any spill, and the stuff we get sucks.
New car smell is a combination of new materials and adhesives used in new car production, outgassing of plastics and vinyls, etc... Some used car dealers will set off scent bombs, but they're all different. New car smell is next to impossible to replicate, but a combination of Simple Green and Tuff Stuff carpet cleaner is close for Ford... (All manufactures smell different)
