93 Eddie Bauer: I would like to replace my factory AM/FM stereo cassette unit with one that includes a CD player. Did Ford have a complete unit available in 93? Can anyone suggest a direct application?
If you mean including a CD player in ADDITION to a tape and radio player, no, I don't think it's available. Usually, that type of player with dual media takes a double din radio (one twice the height of a normal one) or is really expensive with a flip down face to put the tapes in behind. At most, I think you can get the OEM radio with tape, and then get a CD changer with it.
yeah, that's the way to go if you want both a cd player and a tape player...go to crutchfield.com and look at their tape players...some are really high tech and they are made for cd changers..
