I am putting in my old HU. It's a factory JBL everything. The problem is.....i don't for the life of me know what wires go to what.

You see i snipped the old plugs off to install an aftermarket a while ago, and didn't keep the plugs. So i had to go to a shop and buy some of the plugs that go directly into the rear of the radio deck.

Anyone know what goes to what, or could even show me a diagram, or some sort of color chart?

So far it looks like a bunch of wires with afros...

shouldnt they all be color coded? i mean stock wires should be the same color as the stock wires that you cut....

On one of the connectors that is hooked up to my HU (JBL) was a sticker with wiring details. Here is what it says:

DK BLU: Mute (Optional)
---
BLA LT GRN: Radio Ground
---
LT BLU RED: Panel Illumination
YEL BLA: Radio Power Feed
BLA: Vehicle Chassis Ground
LT GRN P: Memory Feed

I believe its for the smaller grey connecter.

Good luck

I'll see what I can find......
I have some diagrams but I can't get them to upload to the board.

OK, I got one small enough to post....

Send me an email addy and I will send you a pdf of wiring schematics from Mitchel on Demand

checkedout- first off, thank you so much for those. Now, is there only one wire cluster that i will be attaching these factory harnesses to? I ask because if not then i can't find where i tucked the other wire cluster.

So the very top picture is for the long grey plug. But....I'm kinda confused on what the other pics are of and they really don't make any sense. Sorry I'm kinda dumb when it comes to trying to figure things out just looking at a picture...

Also, would it be good enough to ground the radio on some of the metal around the unit?

If you get the chance i could use the one w/ 8 on top and 8 on the bottom.

On the plug set up like this - - - - - - - - starting at left top being # 1-8, then 9-16 - - - - - - - -

# 7, 11, 13,14, and 16 have no wires coming from them.

could you give me a picture of that if you have one?

I think the other ones are in the rear cargo area, not sure if you needed them.

That should be fine

well those look right. which one would i use, lux or premium? my trim is limited.

unfortunatly it's not broken down that way, they just have the connector pics in a row so hopefully you can figure out if it's lux or prem.
