need extended warranty advice - 03 MOuntaineer

Hello all,
I purchased an 03 Mountaineer AWD V6 2 weeks ago from a used car dealer. It has 30K on it and the dealer gave me a 60 day warranty. When I purchased it the dealer told me that they were getting set up with an aftermarket warranty company (Preferred Warranties Inc) and that I could come back and purchase the warranty later.
I talked to the dealer today to inquire about the warranties and they said that Preferred Warranties might not sell me the warranty because it has to be purchased at the thime of the purchase of the car. Boy was I pissdd! Can I buy a warranty from a Ford or Mercury dealer or from somewhere else???

Extended Warranty

There are many companies that will sell you an extended warranty as long as you are still under the original 36k factory warranty. Even if you are past the original warranty there are companies that will cover you.

Look on the internet, but be sure to do as much research as you can, since some of the companies have poor reputations.
