- 2004 Ford Explorer XLT
So my 04 Explorer just broke down today. It was running perfectly a few hours ago, but when I tried to start the explorer it refused to start. It turns but it sounds as if there is no Fuel (Yes there is fuel).
I checked the fuel pump fuses, and battery.
I sprayed some Carb cleaner in the air intake and tried to start it and it ran for a quarter of a second (roughly) and died. So I'm guessing it is indeed fuel starvation either from a dead fuel pump or something else.
Is this Fuel pump compatible with my 2004 V6 4.0
