1999 Ford Explorer 4x4
I am in desparate need of some help. i have a 99 explorer 4x4 with a 5R55E transmission. i was on my way home today and pulled up to a stop sign and went to take off and the truck wouldn't shift any higher than 2nd. My O/D light started to flash and few moments later the truck went into what seemed like neutral. and wouldn't go anywhere. coasted into a parking lot and nothing. waited a little bit and started the go but again wouldn't shift above 2nd and light kept blinking, when i got it home i hooked a scan tool up to it got the following codes. PO753 shift solenoid A, PO758 shift solenoid B, P1864 Torque converter clutch circuit, and PO1886 Shift timing solenoid. wanting to know what these mean and what it could possibly be.. Thanks in advance

Welcome!
Although you wisely posted in the transmission section, I'm moving your post to the gen 2 section where I think you will get quicker help, especially with the codes.

Check the circuit that feeds the transmission's 4 shift solenoids, the electronic pressure control solenoid, and the torque converter clutch solenoid. All of these are power supplied from the same circuit. It goes from the battery junction box (fuse #10 , 30 Amp), to the PCM relay (in the battery junction box), and then thru fuse #13 (15 Amp) in the battery junction box to a light blue wire with an orange stripe. The fact that you have codes tells me that the fuse #10 is good (it powers the PCM) and so is the relay. So check fuse #10 in the BJB, and also check the connector into the transmission, especially the contact #8 (the blue wire with the orange stripe). That circuit also powers the oxygen sensor heaters, and like the tranny solenoids, they are grounded by the PCM.
