Need help...ASAP!!!

Hi everyone..
im a bigtime NEWBIE!!!
I have owned nothing but mustangs since i started driving. After a recent accident at work i lost interest in the cars (and amazingly enough i started club a few years ago called eastcoaststangs.com)
I pretty much decided that i dont want my car anymore and i need something a lil more "practical" espically since i cant fit my fire gear and other things in the trunk anymore..

the question i have is...

what in the world is the difference between an XLS and an XLT?

Im basically looking for a nice 4 door 6cyl...

how is the gas milage differ between the 6 and the 8?

Throw any nuggets of wisdom at me beacuse im clueless to explorers..but im definitly looking into one!

Oh yeah..i do like the new body style and im guessing that its only 2001-up?

welcome to the board. Hopefully i can help you out.

XLS I believe doesn't have all the options the XLT does.

Screw the v6 and get the 8. The gas mileage is almost the same. Trust me get the 8.

Newer body style is 2001 and up.
