Need help like 911!

Looking for help or should I say easiest way to remove the headlamps on an "05 ford explorer . I wanted put in new HID bulbs for my high & low beams. there plastic nuts holding lights on.? help.

you replace bulbs from back of the light,through a door under the hood over the light.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved this thread to the proper section for you. Put your hand on the back of the light. You will feel how this bulb comes out. Don't touch the glass on the new bulb when you install it. Hold it with a glove or a tissue.

Aa the top of each headlight housing there are 2 flat tabs. Pull straight up to release them from the "plastic nut." They are located on each side of the housing.

It can be a PITA but that's how the housing come out. I usually put a piece of rope under the tab to pull, just make sure to pull straight up or you can bend/break them.
