Hi guys

My wife has a 03 Explorer XLT, 2 wheel drive, Just had the transmission rebuilt- transmission shop called me to let me it was ready, he told me they drove the vehicle for a test drive and it shift perfectly, I went to pick it up, I get there and the guy said he went to move the truck out of the way and now it wont start,

Symptoms:

Odometer reads ----------
no crank, no fuel pump turning on
theft light blinking even w/ the key on

We tried changing the neutral safety switch
we verified the starter works
called locksmith, thinking it was the key- its not
obd wont communicate with PCM

I don't know where else to go, any help would be appreciated...........

The last few times this was posted, I believe it was a bad battery and or bad alternator.

^ Bingo! Battery is the very first thing to check when you have electrical gremlins. Bench and load test then report back. GL

Thanks for all your fast replies, it wounded up being a blown fuse for the pcm. It's embarrassing to say but I spent my whole Sunday trying to find the problem, while overlooking the simplest thing.
