I have a Denon 5 disc CD changer. I need to find a place to mount it. According to the instructions, I can only mount it level, or at no more then a 30 degree angle. It's small, not very thick, but a little long. It doesn't fit under the rears seats. I can't seem to fit it under the front seats either. It doesn't fit in the glove box, & doesn't fit in the console. I could put it in the hatch area, but I need that space, & I want it hidden. I don't want it to be stolen. I really wanted it under the front seat. Any ideas on where I could mount it on a 94 2 door sport???

Thanks

Looks like you tried to put it everywhere. I put my Sony 10 disk changer in my armrest. Looks like it was made for it .... if fit perfectly.

I'm thinking about putting in the Blaupunkt 5-disc, and I have been eyeing the ash tray space. I think it will fit there with a little work.

Jason, is that the Denon DIN-size 5 disc changer that's about ten inches deep? It may be able to fit in the ashtray. I know the opening is DIN sized, but I'm not sure about the depth. Did you see if there is enough space in the jack area to put it in front to back (with the front of the changer facing the back of the car)? I ended up putting my Denon 10 disc in the cargo area because it wouldn't fit anywhere else. Like you, I didn't really want to, but I had no choice. I made a custom carpeted cover for it and it looks like it came with the car.

peace

Yeah it's that changer. What happends to the power outlet if I use the ashtray? I need that for Radar detector.

Hmmmm, I guess you'd have to relocate it. I don't know if there's enough depth in that area to fit the changer anyway.

Re: Cd cahnger location

Question: Are you still running a stock system in the truck?

Quest: If you are not what goin go on with the stock amp location?

Idea for you guys I need a place just like you guys and I first located mine in the back of the truck right next to the amps. BAD IDEA.
I full work my system in the truck so the stock amp was obsolite. I remove the stock amp and sub enclosure and built a custom cd changer holder and made a cover w/ trim for the truck other then the vinyl moty exactly match perfectly it looks good and i am happy.

And my CD Changer is A JVC 12 Disc.

Peace
Chris

No it's not stock. I do have my sub amp mounted where the factory amp was. I also checked the ashtray, it won't fit unless I cut the sides of where the ashtray screws were. Even then, I'm not sure it would be deep enough. I'm going to try & see what I can do this weekend.

Well forget that. The changer doesn't fit. I'd have to cut the metal around the opening to make it fit. I'm not chopping my dash up.
