need help removing pas. side mirror 02 Mount.

I need to replace a broken (wife hit a fence) passenger side mirror and was hoping someone would be able to provide me with instructions and advise on if this is something I could do myself or not. I've seen several listed on e-bay and was hoping to save some money, but I didn't want to do more harm than it would save. Thanks!


It's an 02 Mountaineer with heated/power/puddle light side mirror....

If you know how to remove a door panel, it shouldn't be too hard. Couple of screw's and it will be good as new.

My concern is with the power/heat aspect. Is it a simple plug, or are there wires to attach? Do I need to disconect the battery to be safe or not? Are the aftermarket ones ok, or should i get original? Thanks

If its any kind of decent aftermarket it should have the plug. Its a simple plug. Now if it doesn't have the plug all you have to do is remove the plug from your old one and wire it to the new one.
