Need help with 96 explorer jbl system

Ok here's the deal. I'm new to the website and I have searched the site for about two weeks and haven't found really anything that talks about the 96 JBL premium sound system or give any advise about except the main part of the radio is in the rear passenger side of the X.

Ok I wasn't trying to complain, I just don't want to be a re-poster on this.
My question is, I'm replacing my HU and I would like a info/advise about doing it?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Here is one that may help you. Wasn't sure if you were replacing with another ford head unit, or after market.

If you haven't already bought your new HU, go to Crutchfield.com and get it from there. They'll give you all the harnesses and most adapters you'll need for free. It took me all of 20 minutes to change out mine. If you already have then yeah, if you can't find it in the threads, you'll have to hunt and peck around with a volt meter to find which wire goes to what.
