Sway bar bushing?

im new to explorers might be stupid to ask where is that at. i never owned a suv before

The U shaped bar at the bottom of the pic is a front sway bar. It is held on the frame by two brackets attached tto the frame in the middle and by long bolts on the ends. Noise sometimes comes from the rubber in the frame brackets (bushings) needing to be removed & greased.
Just lay on your back under the front and it will all be clear.

Little info on a few things it could be....

Swaybar...

Ball joints or tie rod ends.... This vid is on an escort but they are in the same location on every vehicle. The "slop" shown in the ball joints and tie rod ends in this video is what causes the squeak. Also if the rubber boot is broken they can fill with water and make it worse. Which is probably what happened to your ex.

does the ball joints have to be pressed back in on the explorers or not, i was going to put grease in it but there is no fitting
